Rosas Maschinenbau on a shared stand with Gt Solex GmbH had three label rewinders at Labelexpo Europe running live demonstrations.
Debuting was Rosas’ second-generation Gazelle, high-speed bidirectional rewinder for imprinting a variety of labels. The new Gazelle II 6-color digital imprinting machine features an unwind diameter 650mm, web widths from 40-330mm, print width up to 200mm, speed up to 45 m/min (color) & 130 m/min (monochrome), corona treatment, and a flexo primer station. Also featured was Graph-Tech’s EZ 202 DOD color inkjet head based on Epson S3200 technology, double white DOD UV inkjet with 600 dpi, a 4C DOD UV inkjet with 600 dpi, and an LED UV curing unit.
Label inspection with AI technology and an advanced RFID HF & UHF tag serialization module with code verifier & backside serialisation and TIJ printer for numbering and coding was demonstrated on Rosas’ Cheetah 500.
Rosas’ third rewinder, a Leopard 300, featured a label inspection system, 2k resolution, and 180 m/min inspection speed with an integration with Lake Image Systems’ Discovery RFID solution that seamlessly merged with Rosas’ RFID HF and UHF tag serialization module. This provides an innovative end-to-end solution that not only encodes but also verifies RFID tags at high speeds, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and precision in RFID tag production.
FUTEC Europe also demonstrated Rosas’Leopard 300 rewinder with their FUTEC inspection system at Labelexpo Europe.
